Rates assume current model year, a 40-year-old male driver with no accidents or violations, $500 comprehensive and collision deductibles, minimum liability limits, and uninsured/under-insured motorist coverage included. Rates are for comparison only and are averaged for all 50 U.S. states.
The prior chart uses the average vehicle rating data for all Porsche vehicles listed in the table above to showcase how different scenarios can impact car insurance prices.
Insurance prices for a Porsche range considerably based on liability limits and deductibles, your driving characteristics, and the model year and trim level.
Opting for high physical damage deductibles can reduce rates by up to $980 each year, while buying higher liability limits will increase premiums. Changing from a 50/100 liability limit to a 250/500 limit will raise rates by up to $335 more each year
Older drivers with no violations or accidents and higher deductibles could pay as little as $1,800 every 12 months on average, or $150 per month, for full coverage. Prices are highest for teenagers, since even excellent drivers should be prepared to pay at least $7,000 a year.
If you have a few points on your driving record or you were responsible for an accident, you are likely paying $2,400 to $3,200 additional every year, depending on your age. A high-risk auto insurance policy is expensive and can cost anywhere from 46% to 135% more than the average rate.
Your home state also has a big influence on Porsche insurance rates. A middle-age driver might find rates as low as $1,520 a year in states like Vermont, New Hampshire, and Missouri, or at least $2,840 on average in Louisiana, Montana, and Michigan.
