Rates assume current model year, a 40-year-old male driver with no accidents or violations, $500 comprehensive and collision deductibles, minimum liability limits, and uninsured/under-insured motorist coverage included. Rates are for comparison only and are averaged for all 50 U.S. states.
The above chart uses the data from all Saturn models shown in the table above to showcase how different scenarios can affect car insurance rates.
Auto insurance rates for a Saturn are quite variable based on the trim level and model year, your driving characteristics, and physical damage deductibles and liability limits.
Older drivers with a good driving record and high physical damage deductibles may only pay around $1,300 a year for full coverage. Prices are much higher for teenage drivers, where even without any violations or accidents they will have to pay in the ballpark of $5,100 a year.
If you have some driving violations or you caused a few accidents, you are likely paying anywhere from $1,600 to $2,200 in extra premium each year, depending on your age. A high-risk auto insurance policy can be around 43% to 127% more than the average policy.
Choosing higher comprehensive and collision insurance deductibles could cut rates by as much as $590 a year, while buying higher liability limits will push rates upward. Changing from a 50/100 bodily injury limit to a 250/500 limit will increase rates by as much as $335 extra every year
The state you live in has a huge impact on Saturn insurance rates. A driver around age 40 might see rates as low as $1,080 a year in states like Vermont, New Hampshire, and Missouri, or have to pay at least $2,020 on average in Louisiana, Montana, and Michigan.
